I made this copy of Queen Amidala's decoy gown for the pure fun of it!

this is the first gown of hers I made.

Didn't get if perfectli copied cause it was made yust before the premiere and i didn't have any good photos...

I love to make copys of movie costumes.... its a hard task and a much fun too :)

This was always and is still one of my absolute favorite dresses from all the movies! It makes me cry seeing it again, it's so beautiful :heart::heart::heart:

No problem! I love costumes and would like to make some Padmé/Amidala or Sabé/Other handmaiden costume too someday...

you know which one you should make? the very last gown in Episode 1. There is a very interesting story behind it. It was supposedly made of Flower Petals (in the story not the real gown) which were very rare... and they represented peace and trequility i believe.

i love this one to! very good!

jes..i knov...but there is no beadwork and no embroidery....and the silk takes forever to die in that collors...not to mention that it is expencive to get... :(

This is sooooo awesome!
I always called it her "Oh crap I've just been captured" gown... In the scene just before she wore this she was wearing something completely different. She must really dress for EVERY occasion. ^___^x

WOW!!!! That is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have several SW outfits that I want to replicate myself. When I get all my renaissance stuff made. I do have fabric for my Obi-Wan jedi outfit, but that's about it right now. Wow, this is really good!

I found some fabric that very nearly matches the tunic and tabard of Obi-Wan's episode II and III Jedi outfit! I can't wait to get started on it! LOL!
